2012 Fight to Save Ash Trees in London

Welcome to WestmountHills.ca. The Westmount Hills Residents Association is dedicated to advocacy for our neighbourhood and for London as a whole. Prompting the creation of this website is the recent decision by the City of London to cull 96% of the boulevard and park Ash trees in London. The emerald ash borer (EAB) has had a devastating impact on our ash trees, but we believe it is NOT TOO LATE to save many of our trees through pesticide injection.

We need your help to ensure that Ash trees that can be saved ARE saved. Contact your City Councillor to let them know you want resources devoted to saving trees not just cutting trees. Millions of dollars in property values are at stake, not to mention the misuse of millions of dollars cutting down trees and planting new ones where healthy trees can be saved.
